Hi, I’m Aidan Young.
My goal is to help as many people as possible cultivate Creativity, Connection, and Community in their own lives and the lives of the people they serve.
I started a Music Youtube channel because it’s alway been my dream to do creative work for a living. I spent the first two decades of my professional life helping others be creative and follow their dreams and it was finally time to do it for myself.
This creative journey is a huge challenge every single day, and is it also incredibly rewarding. I am learning so much, and I am dedicated to sharing the most helpful tools and wisdom that I discover every week, through my writing and Something of Meaning Podcast, and Email Newsletter.
Musician, songwriter, Music Teacher
I have been passionate about teaching music since 2003. Over the past 18 years, I have guided hundreds of students in achieving their musical goals, through private lessons, group classes, and coaching bands. Students of mine have been accepted to the top music schools, including Berklee and USC Thornton, and gone on to have successful careers in the industry.
I have been a gigging musician since the age of 11, performing thousands of shows as a solo artist and in over a dozen bands. I’ve played rock, pop, funk, jazz, bluegrass, folk, soul, metal, and blues, on guitar, vocals, and half a dozen other instruments. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to share the stage with many great people and incredible musicians, including Victor Wooten and Ramon Mirabet.
I am passionate about helping people bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to go. I love learning, problem-solving, making connections, being silly, and creating new things; the subject really doesn’t matter. If you’re inspired by music and what to go deeper, I would love to work with you. I work with students of all levels, from beginners to lifelong learners, and everything in between.
